On Tuesday, social data analytics startup Simply Measured announced a $20 million Series C round of funding led by Trinity Ventures (Bessemer Venture Partners and other existing investors participated as well).
“This is great validation for our vision and an exciting milestone, but it’s even more exciting as we look to the future,” shared CEO and Co-Founder Adam Schoenfeld in a letter to clients. The company, which monitored and analyzes data from social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google+, Tumblr, Instagram, and Vine, has swelled to 100+ employees and a 4.8 times increase in paid users over the past year. Clients include Pepsi, Microsoft, Chipotle, Samsung, Whole Foods, and of course, Firebrand Group.
