Today Branderati announced that Sprinklr acquired Branderati, the company that our friend Ekaterina Walter worked to build over the past year. The Wall Street Journal covered the acquisition here.
It’s the latest in a number of important moves for Sprinklr, which just four months ago announced it had secured an additional $40 Million in Series D funding.
In a letter, Ekaterina, author of “Think Like Zuck: The Five Business Secrets of Facebook’s Improbably Brilliant CEO Mark Zuckerberg”, as well as her latest, “The Power of Visual Storytelling: How to Use Visuals, Videos, and Social Media to Market Your Brand”, commented on the deal:
It is truly exciting for me on both personal and professional levels. First, because of what we were able to accomplish in the past year. Second, because both companies share the same passion and business philosophy. I’ve known Ragy [Thomas, Sprinklr’s CEO] for a while and it was amazing to see how fast we realized the potential of the partnership.
Beginning this week, Ekaterina will be joining Sprinklr as Global Evangelism Lead – one of the better titles out there, in our opinion. Here’s wishing both sides of the transaction the best of success during this transition period and beyond!
